This page explains how to request deletion of your Mordoo account and data —
both from inside the app and without the app (e.g. if you have already
uninstalled it). It applies to every account type: guest, phone (OTP), and LINE.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (recommended, immediate)
Open the Mordoo app and go to the Profile page.
Choose "Delete account".
Review the summary of what will be deleted, tick the confirmation, and tap
"Confirm deletion" — the account is suspended immediately and signed out on
all devices.
Option 2 — Request deletion without the app (by email)
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot delete in-app, send a request by email:

Include at least one of the following so we can find your account:
the registered phone number (for phone accounts), or
the display name of the LINE account you used to sign in (for LINE accounts).
We will reply to verify your identity as the account owner (e.g. by
confirming details that match the account) before proceeding.
Once verified, we will suspend the account and start the deletion process
within 7 days of receiving complete information, and confirm the outcome by
email.
Note: guest accounts are bound to a device and have no phone number or LINE identity to verify.
If you still have the app, use Option 1. If the app is uninstalled, the guest data cannot be
linked back to you from our side, and without a deletion request the guest account data is
retained for the life of the account under our retention policy (only the AI memory expires on
its own after 90 days). To delete it, reinstall the app on the same device and delete the
account in-app via Option 1.
What happens after you request deletion — the 14-day window
The account is suspended immediately: it can no longer be used, and it is
signed out on all devices.
All data is permanently and automatically deleted after 14 days.
You can change your mind: log in again through your usual channel (phone /
LINE / the same device for guest accounts) within 14 days; the app will ask
you to confirm — once confirmed, the deletion is cancelled and the account
with all its data is restored.
The window exists for user recovery and for security/fraud prevention (it stops
delete-and-re-register cycles from recycling the free quota) — during the window the account
identifiers (phone / LINE / device id) therefore remain in the system.
What is deleted and what is retained
Permanently deleted after 14 days: the account profile and identity (name,
email, phone, LINE ID), all conversations and reading history, AI memory facts, the device
binding, login tokens, and OTP records — all of it is inaccessible from the moment you
request deletion.
Temporarily remains or is retained (as disclosed in our policy):
Server logs — expire within 14 days.
Crash reports (Sentry) — expire per the provider's cycle (approximately 90 days).
Database backups — age out with the backup cycle (up to 30 days).
Behavioral analytics events (PostHog) — expire on PostHog's cycle.
Anonymized system usage statistics (no chat content) — retained.
An account-deletion audit record containing no personal data — retained for
365 days for security and audit purposes.
Messages previously sent to the AI model providers and phone numbers previously sent to the
SMS provider — per each provider's own policy (we delete everything on our side).
